Just do it!
“Now” is the operative word. Everything you put in your way is just a method of putting off the hour when you could actually be doing your dream. You don’t need endless time and perfect conditions. Do it now. Do it today. Do it for twenty minutes and watch your heart start beating.
A lifetime can be spent waiting for the perfect conditions, the necessary provision, or just the right moment to begin living one’s dream. Take a step of faith, and simply begin to walk in that which you know your destiny to be. For all addicts our destiny is the same; to be in recovery free of addiction and to be growing spiritually in our relationship with God! So, see how providence moves, circumstances realign, open doors and divine connections materialize, to provide you with exactly what you need now to accomplish that which you have set forth to do. A journey of a thousand miles begins with that first step.
Thought for the day
How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time! How do we work the steps? One step at a time….without stopping, taking a break, pondering your future, rationalizing, meditating, etc, etc., etc. If you have been “working” on a step for more than 2 weeks, call your sponsor and get him to help you get back on track! What step am I really on?
…And who knows but that you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this and for this very occasion?
~Esther 4:14 (Amp)~
And He summoned the twelve and began to send them out in pairs, and gave them authority over the unclean spirits; and He instructed them that they should take nothing for their journey, except a mere staff–no bread, no bag, no money in their belt–but to wear sandals; and He added, “Do not put on two tunics.” They went out and preached that men should repent. And they were casting out many demons and were anointing with oil many sick people and healing them.
~Mark 6:7-9,12,13 (NASB)~
As God’s fellow workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain. For he says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.
~2 Corinthians 6:1-2 (NIV)~
This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it.
~Psalm 118:24 (NASB)~
