It’s not always easy to do the right thing, especially when those around you are not. Dare to be different…stand on your convictions, and don’t allow others to convince you to compromise in that which you know in your heart is the proper course of action. It may not always be the easiest course, but in the long run, it is always the most rewarding.
Thought for the day
In this day and age people all over the world are being sucked in by those promoting the spirituality of comfort, the human approach to dealing with life’s deep questions. The “don’t judge my actions and I won’t judge yours” approach to determining what constitutes morality and immorality.
In 12 step fellowships all across the world the majority of members seek the softer, easier way. It is the norm for folks to enable one another and cut each other slack. Are you willing to stand up and with God’s help, be truthful and claim remission of our addiction and recovery (emotional and spiritual) as the ideal to strive for or are you promoting temporary relief from the addiction as the ultimate goal?
For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called.
