A New Day!
Someone may have stolen your dream when it was young and fresh and you were innocent. Anger is natural. Grief is appropriate. Healing is mandatory. Restoration is possible. ~Jane Rubietta~
The wonderful thing about life is that it is never too late to begin again, or achieve your destiny. Each day brings a new opportunity for realizing your hopes, dreams and aspirations. What happened yesterday doesn’t matter…what matters is how you face today. Carpe Diem (seize the day)!!!
Thought for the day
“No matter how far down the scale we have gone, we will see how our experience can benefit others”. “We will not regret the past nor wish to shut the door on it”. “We will comprehend the word serenity and we will know peace”.
Do these spiritual promises of the 12 Step program sound attainable? They are, if we learn to just let go and let God! It is very difficult to trust when in the past we have been violated and victimized by man and life. But that is exactly what we must do to have the kind of healing necessary that brings hope, dreams and aspirations. Connect with God, submit to God, trust God and you too will be amazed before we are half way through with our step work!
The Lord’s loving kindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
~Lamentations 3:22-23 (NASB)~
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. ~Philippians 3:13-14~
This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
…”Kings will stand at attention when you pass by. Princes will bow low because the LORD has chosen you. He, the faithful LORD, the Holy One of Israel, chooses you.” This is what the LORD says: “At just the right time, I will respond to you. On the day of salvation, I will help you…Through you I am saying to the prisoners of darkness, ‘Come out! I am giving you your freedom!’ They will be my sheep, grazing in green pastures and on hills that were previously bare. They will neither hunger nor thirst. The searing sun and scorching desert winds will not reach them anymore. For the LORD in his mercy will lead them beside cool waters. Isaiah 49:7-10 (NLT)
