Receiving Is In The Believing…
As far as you believe, you will receive! ~Maria Woodworth-Etter~
In order to accomplish any worthwhile objective, one must necessarily first have the complete conviction that it will come to pass. The slightest hesitation or doubt can later become magnified a hundredfold, and grow into a stumbling block that will eventually lead to defeat. Allowing for no other alternative, staying focused and believing in the desired outcome will bring all of the provisions needed to get the job done…many times from sources that you never could have imagined at the onset.
Thought for the day
Regarding my recovery and my ability to allow God to change me, am I more like Thomas who needed to see to believe or do I have the faith of Peter? Let’s all remember that as far as experiencing a spiritual awakening, which is the sole purpose of the 12 steps, we do not understand to believe rather we must believe to understand. That is how faith works!

Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him. For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it]. ~Mark 11:22-24 (Amp)~
Now on the final and most important day of the Feast, Jesus stood, and He cried in a loud voice, If any man is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink! He who believes in Me [who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me] as the Scripture has said, From his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water. But He was speaking here of the Spirit, Whom those who believed (trusted, had faith) in Him were afterward to receive… ~John 7:37-39 (Amp)~
I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father. ~John 14:12 (Amp)~
