Stand upright, speak thy thoughts, declare the truth thou hast, that all may share; Be bold, proclaim it everywhere: They only live who dare. ~Lewis Morris~
Don’t be afraid to stand up for that which you know is right. It may not always be the popular choice, but it will always be the correct one. Refuse to compromise in the face of opposition, and you will soon find that true strength and power are derived from that clarity of purpose which comes from deep within…soon you will begin to accept nothing less.
Thought for the day
How many times will you continue to deny speaking up for your heavenly Father?
How many times do you place political correct attitude above the mandate you have received to boldly proclaim the Truth? When in meetings do you resist speaking about God for fear of upsetting that someone, or the minority who have yet to come to know and believe in God? Isn’t it about time that Christians stop turning our cheeks to the unbelievers who threaten our way of life? The truth is that if an addict of any sort refuses to believe in a God (of his own understanding) he/she has no shot, zero possibilities of staying sober in recovery. This is a spiritual program (100%) and the ones that fight the reality of God become casualties of their own disease
So then, we may no longer be children, tossed [like ships] to and fro between chance gusts of teaching and wavering with every changing wind of doctrine, [the prey of] the cunning and cleverness of unscrupulous men, [gamblers engaged] in every shifting form of trickery in inventing errors to mislead. Rather, let our lives lovingly express truth [in all things, speaking truly, dealing truly, living truly]. Enfolded in love, let us grow up in every way and in all things into Him Who is the Head, [even] Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). ~Ephesians 4:14,15 (Amp)~
Now stand up! For I have appeared to you to appoint you as my servant and my witness. You are to tell the world about this experience and about other times I will appear to you. And I will protect you from both your own people and the Gentiles. Yes, I am going to send you to the Gentiles, to open their eyes so they may turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God. Then they will receive forgiveness for their sins and be given a place among God’s people, who are set apart by faith in me. ~Jesus / Acts 26:16-18 (NLT)~
