Time Is Now…
We crucify ourselves between two thieves- regret for yesterday and fear of tomorrow. Author Unknown~
Only when we are able to fully die to our memories of past hurts or failures, and our worries of the future, can we begin to live for today. How often do we allow past experiences which we cannot change, or concerns for tomorrow which we have absolutely no control over, to distract us from what we can do today? This day contains the only certainty that we have…choose to live it to its fullest! Carpe Diem (seize the day)!!!
Thought for the day
God does not reside in the past nor does he live in the future. He is only available to us in the present. And that is why it is so important for us to stay in the now; so we can have access to the One and only one capable of helping us to live life on life’s terms.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. ~1 John 1:9~
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; ~2 Corinthians 5:17,18~
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself… ~Jesus (Matthew 6:33,34)~
This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
