Keep coming back…it works…if you work it!
As long as we are persistent in our pursuit of our deepest destiny, we will continue to grow. We cannot choose the day or time when we will fully bloom. It happens in its own time. ~Denis Waitley~
Persistence is one of the key ingredients to ultimate accomplishment. Whenever you begin to get discouraged by setbacks or failure, or feel that you are not reaching your goal, simply take a moment to reflect upon where you have come from. You will most assuredly see that although you may not yet be what or where you want to be, you have come far from what and where you used to be! Carry on…your time will come.
Thought for the day
All of God’s major servants, including Moses, Abraham and the apostles had issues and obstacles to overcome…including unbelief and doubt. Why even God’s only son, Jesus, had to overcome his own personal desert experience. Why should we be exempt from life’s difficulties? Let us rejoice that we have a heavenly father who will never leave our side and is willing and able, if called upon, to be the rock we lean on. You and God are an overwhelming majority and there’s nothing you cannot accomplish…if you will do your part! When life seems overwhelming the program tells us to pick up our butt, put it in a bag and bring it to a meeting. Sometimes that is all it will take to get us back on track! Keep coming back…it works!
And the Lord answered me and said, Write the vision and engrave it so plainly upon tablets that everyone who passes may [be able to] read [it easily and quickly] as he hastens by. For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end [fulfillment]; it will not deceive or disappoint. Though it tarry, wait [earnestly] for it; because it will surely come; it will not be behindhand on its appointed day. ~Habakkuk 2:2,3 (Amp)~
It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions; Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. ~Hebrews 10:31,32,35,36~
But as for you, continue to hold to the things that you have learned and of which you are convinced, knowing from whom you learned [them]. Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose, and action), So that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work. ~2 Timothy 3:14,16,17 (Amp)
