It’s Only The Beginning!
There will come a time when you believe everything is finished. That will be the beginning. ~Louis L’Amour~
Oftentimes, we must first come to the end of ourselves, before we can truly see things in their proper perspective and begin to live. If you feel like your whole world is falling apart, take cheer…it simply means that you are very close to a new revelation of who you really are.
Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” ~Jesus / John 3:3 (NKJV)~
He told them this parable: “No one tears a patch from a new garment and sews it on an old one. If he does, he will have torn the new garment, and the patch from the new will not match the old. And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the new wine will burst the skins, the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, new wine must be poured into new wineskins.” ~Jesus / Luke 5:36-38 (NIV)~
We know that the persons we used to be were nailed to the cross with Jesus. This was done, so that our sinful bodies would no longer be the slaves of sin. We know that sin doesn’t have power over dead people. As surely as we died with Christ, we believe we will also live with him. In the same way, you must think of yourselves as dead to the power of sin. But Christ Jesus has given life to you, and you live for God. ~Romans 6:6-8,11 (CEV)~
