I am looking for a lot of men who have an infinite capacity to not know what can’t be done. ~Henry Ford~
Life’s journey truly is one that ultimately leads us back to where we began…learning (or unlearning) to recapture that childlike faith, trust and hope. Try it, if even for a moment, and feel the exhilaration that comes from a heartfelt belief that all things truly are possible…if only you believe. When those bonds are broken, nothing can stand in the way of your true calling.
Thought for the Day
Do I feel worthy to be used by God? If I think I am….then I am. If He believes in me, has always loved me and proved it by his mercy, patience and grace, then who am I to not believe in myself? Today I will begin treating myself with kindness and having faith in my God given abilities.
How kind the LORD is! How good he is! So merciful, this God of ours! The LORD protects those of childlike faith…~Psalm 116:5-6 (NLT)~
And Jesus looking upon them said, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible. ~Mark 10:27~
And there came a man named Jairus, and he was an official of the synagogue; and he fell at Jesus’ feet, and began to implore Him to come to his house; for he had an only daughter, about twelve years old, and she was dying…While He was still speaking, someone came from the house of the synagogue official, saying, "Your daughter has died; do not trouble the Teacher anymore." But when Jesus heard this, He answered him, “Do not be afraid any longer; only believe, and she will be made well."…Now they were all weeping and lamenting for her; but He said, "Stop weeping, for she has not died, but is asleep." And they began laughing at Him, knowing that she had died. He, however, took her by the hand and called, saying, "Child, arise!" And her spirit returned, and she got up immediately… ~Luke 8:41,42,49,50,52-55 (NASB)~
