10-09: Be Flexible… Be Happy!

Be Flexible… Be Happy!

True stability results when presumed order and presumed disorder are balanced.  A truly stable system expects the unexpected, is prepared to be disrupted, and waits to be transformed. ~Tom Robbins~

Oftentimes in our lives, it seems as though the only thing constant, is change.  What worked for us yesterday, may no longer work for us today…that which we deem important today, may appear meaningless tomorrow.  Through this process we are ever learning, growing and maturing into that which we might become. Learning to accept the challenges that life presents us, adapting to the changes around and within us and knowing that all these things work together for our good is a first step toward true understanding.

Thought for the day
As much as I love set schedules and fixed plans am I learning to “go with the flow”?  Do I realize that my inner being can not be subject to the outside influences?  Am I working on being flexible so as not to pick up stress when change comes?

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.  For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.  But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. ~Romans 8:16, 18, 25, 28~

Now the Lord is the Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation from bondage, freedom).  And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another…
~2 Corinthians 3:17,18 (Amp)~

Blessed be the name of God forever and ever! For wisdom and might are His!  He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding!  He reveals the deep and secret things… ~Daniel 2:20-22 (Amp)~

About SLAA Tilburg
