It’s Time…

It’s Time…

When you know even for a moment that it’s your time, then you can walk with the power of a thousand generations. ~Bruce Cockburn~

When one comes to full recognition of that which they are called to, and that the time has come for it to be made manifest in their life, absolutely no obstacle can stand in the way of its fulfillment.  Go forward boldly, confident in the knowledge of whose you are, and your path will be established.

Thought for the day
The only thing that stands in the way of living a life of peace, joy, contentment and purpose is me!  Do I realize how I continue to sabotage my own recovery by having attitudes and creating situations that are negative and crippling?  Can I uncover, discover and discard all those long standing character defects that have been the fuel and the match for my addiction to destroy so many relationships and dreams in my life.  Am I done yet?   If so, let’s go together and start a bonfire where we can all together burn all those destructive old tapes of worthlessness, helplessness and hopelessness that keep us under the sheets and all those character defects that keep us bound to addictive behavior as we continue to be at odds with people, places and things.  It really is time to grow up and live…

In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. ~Proverbs 3:6 (Amp)~

But you are God’s chosen and special people.  You are a group of royal priests and a holy nation.  God has brought you out of darkness into his marvelous light.  Now you must tell all the wonderful things that he has done. ~1 Peter 2:9 (CEV)~

For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.  For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, "Abba! Father!" The Spirit Himself  testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.  For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.  For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. ~Romans 8:14-19 (NASB)~

About SLAA Tilburg
