Someone may have stolen your dream when it was young and fresh and you were innocent. Anger is natural. Grief is appropriate. Healing is mandatory. Restoration is possible. ~Jane Rubietta~
The wonderful thing about life is that it is never too late to begin again, or achieve your destiny. Each day brings a new opportunity for realizing your hopes, dreams and aspirations. What happened yesterday doesn’t matter…what matters is how you face this day, today! Carpe Diem (seize the day)!!!
Thought for the day
We all have been wounded by events which were the fault of someone who we trusted and who violated us, either physically, sexually, emotionally and always spiritually. When we decide finally to address our addiction, it is no wonder that fairly soon we’re taking an inventory. Why? Because we have to discover who we are at our basic core before we can begin to make the changes necessary to be a real survivor and be reborn. Thank God, that He has given us the power to survive some of the cruelest, damaging and most demeaning abuses. And yes healing, even complete healing is possible if we will work the steps of the program. Have you begun to heal or are you still playing the victim?
The LORD’S loving kindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. ~Lamentations 3:22-23 (NASB)~
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. ~Philippians 3:13-14~
This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
