Believe It Or Not…
For those who believe, no proof is necessary. For those who don’t believe, no proof is possible. ~Author Unknown~
When we enter a 12 Step fellowship we concentrate on getting physically sober…and so we should. But soon thereafter we’re apt to confront the reality that perhaps our entire belief system is false, built on faulty principles. This can be horrific and it is one of the causes of relapse. Some of us are unwilling to consider that reality and refuse to do the work necessary for a complete paradigm shift.
Everything that you think, do, have, or are is based entirely on what you believe. You are not limited by circumstance, ability, or what you may see with the natural eye…only by what you are willing to accept as the truth for yourself.
Thought for the day

What do I really believe?
When He entered the house, the blind men came up to Him, and Jesus said to them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" They said to Him, "Yes, Lord." Then He touched their eyes, saying, "It shall be done to you according to your faith." And their eyes were opened… ~Matthew 9:28-30 (NASB)~
And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in God [constantly]. Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him. For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].
~Mark 11:22-24 (Amp)~
“What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.” ~Mark 9:23 (NLT)~
