Our greatest battles are those within our own minds. ~Jameson Frank~
We are only limited by the constraints we place on ourselves within our own minds. The moment we conceive a bold new direction or a lofty goal, oftentimes our minds will immediately begin to conjure up reasons why it won’t work or shouldn’t. After all we’re not capable or worthy of it!
In order to achieve all that is available to us, we must first eliminate all of these negative thoughts, ideas and erase all the old tapes of worthlessness leaving no doubt in our mind, that our direction is sound and our commitment to the goal will be matched by our actions.
Thought for the day
Am I my own worst enemy? Do I allow my head trash to interfere with my ability to grow in strength, wisdom and character? Do I recognize that it is only through my personal conquests of difficulties, my overcoming obstacles, mishaps, failures that I can expect to grow in character, inner strength and spiritual fitness?
(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; ~2 Corinthians 10:4,5~
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. ~Romans 12:2~
