I’m not old enough to play baseball or football. I’m not eight yet. My mom told me when you start baseball, you aren’t going to be able to run that fast because you had an operation. I told Mom I wouldn’t need to run that fast. When I play baseball, I’ll just hit them out of the park. Then I’ll be able to walk.

Oftentimes, we allow ourselves to focus on the obstacles to accomplishing that which we desire. Learn to think outside the box, looking for solutions rather than problems and a way will always be found to overcome those limitations that may have initially appeared insurmountable.
Thought for the day
Especially as it relates to my recovery from addiction, do I realize that there’s nothing I will be asked to do by my sponsor and the 12 step program that I can not do? Am I calling on my God daily to help me with those dilemmas I find so difficult to deal with? Have I claimed victory over them before I get started on them? Am I working on the problems of life or am I working on the solution?
