You can count the seeds in one apple, but you can’t count the apples in one seed. ~Author unknown~
Every thought that you think…every word that you speak…every action that you take…both good and bad, are as seeds being planted. Some will take root, grow strong and bear much fruit for an abundant harvest…others will wither and die. But, make no mistake about it, this process of sowing and reaping applies to every area of your life. If you will be diligent to only plant good seed, in your thought life, words, and deeds…how could you reap anything other than an abundant harvest with much great fruit?
Thought for the day
Take some time today, to consider what kind of seeds you are planting and the priority bearing fruit has in your life!
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. ~Galatians 6:7-9 (NASB)~
[Remember] this: he who sows sparingly and grudgingly will also reap sparingly and grudgingly, and he who sows generously [that blessings may come to someone] will also reap generously and with blessings. And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need, be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good and charitable donation]. As it is written, He [the benevolent person] scatters abroad; He gives to the poor; His deeds of justice and goodness and kindness and benevolence will go on and endure forever! And [God] Who provides seed for the sower and bread for eating will also provide and multiply your [resources for] sowing…Thus you will be enriched in all things and in every way… ~2 Corinthians 9:6,8-11 (Amp)~
Heavenly Father help me to start sowing today, that in years to come I may look back at the wonderful field full of fruit that I have toiled on, sweated for, prayed over and rejoiced in and that bears my very name in your Book of Life. I ask you for your guidance, wisdom and courage to help make this my focus in life. In your name I pray. Amen.
