God does not offer us a way out of the testings of life. He offers
us a way through, and that makes all the difference. ~W.T. Purkizer~
Challenges and trials are a natural part of life. Living in victory is not a function of never having them, but in pressing through them when they do arise. Generally, we are destined to continually face the same ones, time and again, until we finally do. Don’t keep circling the wagons…take a stand now, and feel the exhilaration that comes in laying them to rest, once and for all. Press on, and press through. You’ll never attain a lasting sense of peace, until you do!
Thought for the day
What is it about me that prevent me from being all that I was meant to be? Is it possible that I really bring all these issues and dilemmas of life upon myself? And if so, what is my answer?
…May grace and peace be yours in the fullest measure. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
~1 Peter 1:2-7 (NASB)~
Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you…
~1 Peter 4:12-14 (NKJV)~
