We tend to get what we expect. ~Norman Vincent Peale~
Our earnest expectation of how something will turn out can be a deciding factor in determining the actual outcome. Expect good things to happen…expect health…expect happiness…expect prosperity…expect wisdom…expect every need to be met…expect a good life, and you will find that circumstances will indeed develop to meet that level of expectation!
Thought for the day
What am I waiting on? What do I expect? Do I walk around with a feeling of impending doom all the time expecting something to catch up to me, to be punished, for some deep dark secret to be found out? Do you not deserve peace and happiness? Isn’t time to address this negativity and share it with others that can help us? Have you done a 4th, 5th and 6th and 7th on this issue? You have the tools….Use them!
But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.
~Isaiah 40:31 (Amp)~
My soul, wait only upon God and silently submit to Him; for my hope and my expectation are from Him. He only is my Rock and my Salvation; He is my Defense and my Fortress, I shall not be moved. With God rests my salvation and my glory; He is my Rock of unyielding strength and impenetrable hardness, and my refuge is in God. Trust in, lean on, rely on, and have confidence in Him at all times you people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is a refuge for us (a fortress and a high tower).
~Psalm 62:5-8 (Amp)~
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together…For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. ~Romans 8:15-17,19
